Other contributors include former faculty members William J. Gilbert (1916-1994), Ewell A. Stowell (1922-2009), and 1956 alumnus Maynard C. Bowers (1930-). The Gilbert collections include algae from the S. Pacific. The Bowers collections include mosses from Finland and the western US.
